Service
I volunteer to help make a positive impact in the Baton Rouge and New Orleans areas. By prioritizing community needs, I strive to give back through meaningful initiatives and support. Together, we can make a brighter future for everyone in the community. Service has allowed me to become a stronger communicator through an act that has a universal language.

Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana
CRCL is a program in New Orleans focused on reducing the land loss that occurs every day due to erosion in the climate. At CRCL, volunteers participate in a variety of tasks to help better the environment. Our team spent time working on removing weeds from potted trees that would be planted to help restore habitats. Then, we moved on to helping clean and bag oysters. Typically, CRCL receives oysters from partnered restaurants. These oysters are then moved back to the shore, where we build oyster reefs.

Miracle League
From March 2023 to May 2024, I served as a buddy for Miracle League in Baton Rouge. With Miracle League, I volunteered over 40 hours of service with both the pediatrics and adult teams. Miracle League is a program for those with special needs to play baseball with the support of able-bodied volunteers. I volunteered with this program both with clubs that I participated in and on my own time.
