Zeta Tau Alpha Crown Chair

Crown Chair is a position that focuses on informal recruitment and helping women find a place to thrive academically and professionally. My team and I strive to meet women who show compassion, a desire to serve the Baton Rouge community, and understand and educate others about our philanthropy, Breast Cancer Education and Awareness. As Recruitment Chair, I have a team of members who assist me in hosting events, meeting with potential new members, and showing the utmost respect to all women who go through spring and fall recruitment. I meet with the recruitment team weekly, report to the Vice President of Recruitment, and am responsible for planning and hosting events. I served as Crown Chair for the Delta Kappa chapter from January 2025 to December 2025.

Zeta Tau Alpha is committed to breast cancer education and awareness, actively engaging members both on and off campus. Our members strive to educate others about the importance of regular check-ups and self-examinations. Through various initiatives, we aim to provide individuals with knowledge and resources to take charge of their health. Together, we can make a significant impact in the fight against breast cancer.

At the Louisiana State Capitol, I represented the College of Human Science and Education along with Olivia Perry. Together, we were able to talk to various State Senators and help them understand the importance of the research done at LSU. We were able to spread awareness and proudly represent LSU to those who make such an impact on policy and system changes. With the help of our mentors, we make a lasting impression on visitors and state legislators alike.
